Jeżów Sudecki ((ドイツ語:Grunau)) is a village in Jelenia Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) )〕 It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Jeżów Sudecki. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles. Jeżów Sudecki is one of the places considered as the "birthplace of the sport of gliding".〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Grunaubaby Homepage )〕 It lies approximately north of Jelenia Góra, and west of the regional capital Wrocław. The village has a population of 1,800. ==See Also==
